Budgies, Kits Bela lugosi as Frankenstein. in Frankenstein meets the Wolfman, hand painted with acrylics, and pastels for shading. This is a huge bust, sculpted by Joe Hope, for Budgies kits over her in the UK, I think Joe has got the likeness absolutely spot on with this one, any one who is into the Universal Monsters in general and the Frankenstein monster in particular, has to have this one, the base deserves a mention as well there is loadds of detail in there, that the camera doesnt quite pick up, buy one and you will see what I mean. The paint job was aplied using my usual tecniques, but I tried using pastels for the first time, in the bruising around the eyes and on the forehead, I am quite pleased with the results, and will experiment further.
