Kit Building Diary
I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I
tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking.

Saturday Morning   18/October/03
Next on the bench its back to my favourite Genre Lycanthropes, this time up its Bad Moon Rising Sculpted by Joe Bailey, for Killer kits. so far I have cleaned glued and pinned and puttied, ready for painting,
Sunday Morning   19/October/03
I laid on some colour today the base is sprayed flat black, the figure is looking a bit rough at the moment this is the first of several shades of brown to be airbrushed, more soon
Monday Morning   20/October/03
I have started airbrushing the various shades for the fur, the artists Inks I have used, have a semi gloss finish, so I will need to apply a couple of coats of flat to take off the shine before I decide whether to go any further with the shading,
More tomorrow, remember to check back.
Monday Evening 20/October/03
while I am waiting for the flat coats to dry on the Werewolf, I decided to start on Jack, The Lycanthropes victim, this is the new Bust sculpted and produced by Neil Sims, I airbrushed th flesh tones and the base to get me started, more soon
Tuesday Evening 21/October/03
I started dry brushing the werewolf and base, and I masked the fleshtones on Jack so I could airbrush his clothing Tamya Khaki acrylic, and his hair, burnt umber artists ink, the big test comes when I try to remove the Maskol, I never know whats waiting for me underneath that stuff, and dont really like using it.
Wednesday Evening 22/October/03
badmoon rising is now finished, I did the final detailing on the eyes fangs claws and base, I removed the Maskol from rotting jack, only a couple of small touch up areas, I did some shading on the flesh tones, and laid on the base colours for his shirt eyes and teeth, more tomorrow
Thursday Evening 23/October/03
I did some pastel shading on Jacks coat, then I started on the gore, first I went in with burnt umber Ink, (top right photo)
then I went in again with a very dark red wash, (bottom Left) when this is dry I will give him a final coat with bright red, and that should see him all gored up, tomorrow should see this one finished, please check back.

Friday Evening 23/October/03
Well heres another one done and I really enjoyed doing it, I finished the blood and gore, and completed the base bry drybrushing, with greens Browns greys and yellow, now I boldly go onto the next in a long line of buildups, hope you are still enjoying them, Mark.
