Kit Building Diary
I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I
tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking.

Well after Max and all his Tattoos I decided on something more straight forward this time, here we have the Excellent, Needfull Things, Kit, Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein, I have also decided to give my Old Billiken Dracula a re-paint and add him in a small Diorama, So Far I have Primed all the Figures, and Airbrushed, the Basic Flesh tones, Tamya Flat Flesh, on Bud Lou and Dracula, I have Also Given the Crate That Frankenstein is Lying in, but I forgot to add it in the Photo DOHHHH!!!
More on this one tomorrow.

Monday Evening   22/September/03
After a weekend off I got some more work done, I painted Dracs Vest, Beige, dry brushed antique white, his shirt is pure white, as are bud and Lous, and they each have a midnight blue tie, the trousers are gunmetal grey, the tunics have been dry brushed, for detailing, I painted the peaks of the caps, hair on all three figures, and Lous shoes, matt black. I also started on the eyes bleached bone and I shaded the flesh tones with pastels, quite a busy day after a weekends slacking. more tomorrow.
Tuesday Evening   23/September/03
Lou Costello and the Count are both now finished, I did a litle more dry brushing on Lous clothes painted his shoes Brown, and gave him brown eyes, the count has blue eyes, the inner cloak is painted with yellow, and gold, pearlescants, the outer cloak is humbrol satin coal black out of a spray can, tomorrow should see Frank and Bud finished, then its just a case of finding a way to display this one, to complete it.
Wednesday Evening   24/September/03
And here we have the Finished Bud Abbott and Frankenstein, I added the candle in buds left hand, and in his right he is reading the legend of Frankenstein, Franks flesh tones where created by dry-brushing gradually lighter, shade of natural flesh, over the initial green I then darkened the shadows with grey pastels, I finally gave the whole figure a dry-brush with dove grey, tomorrow should see the Casket and Nameplate finnished, then its on with a base. thanks again for looking, Mark A.
Thursday Evening   25/September/03
Well I am finally getting there, Frank is now in his box, I need to tone down the Weathering, a bit and I also need to pick up some materials, so I can put together a base, to finnish this one, until then I have started on Ingrid Pitt, a brand new kit sculpted by Joe Bailey and sold by Killer kits, this 1 piece kit has been washed and primed, and I have started airbrushing the flesh tones more soon Mark A.
