Kit Building Diary
I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I
tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking.

Monday Morning 18/August/03
A nice easy one this week Diceman Creations, John Carradine as Dracula, this is a one piece kit, so no glueing or putty, and no seams to get rid of, so I can just get straight to the paint, the Casket, and the figures cloak, Are Humbrol Matt Black,
Flesh is Tamya matt Flesh, and I gace the earth, in the bottom of the Casket, a wash with Raw Umber, time spent on project so far 30 Minutes. More Later

Tuesday Morning 19/August/03
Did I say a nice easy piece, ? me and my big mouth, not as easy as I thought, the main problem I am having is working within the close confines of the casket, I am having to go back and repaint areas I thought I had finished, because of overpaint, as you will see in the close up shot of the hands, I have to say though that this one is definately taking shape, and I am enjoying the Challenge, I decided on Anitas Midnight Blue, for the suit as a contrast to the black cloak, his vest and shirt have been base coated with Anitas sand, the Lining of the Casket is Spice Red, and the Hair is Anitas Grey, time spent working today about 1 hour.
Wednesday Afternoon 20/August/03
Well I finally got the base colours more or less where I want them, after a lot of touching up, so I will be able to start doing some detailing tomorrow, its funny but this kit is proving more tricky than I thought it would, but the farther along I get the more I like it, it realy is a nice piece, different. time spent on project today
about 30 mimutes, thats it for today more tomorrow. Mark A.
Started, shading flesh, and dry brushing clothes, painted eyes Citadel colours bleached bone, this is begining to take shape now, Weekend should see it finished.
Hopefully.
