Billiken Frankenstein & Horizon Bride
on scratch built base.
BACK
Billiken Frankenstein, and Horizon Bride, airbrushed and hand brushed with acyilics, and pastels for shading. I have had the Billiken Frankenstein for a couple of years now, and he used to stand on his base, all alone, see here The Horizon bride is a recent ebay win, and I have to admit to being a little underwhelmed when the kit got here. a very static pose and no base, then I got to thinking old Frankie needs a bird, so I got him down off the shelf, and tried to visualize him with his new chick, I didnt want to go to the time and expense of building a new base, so I moified the base to hold them both, her on top him standing below, as I have said the brides pose is totally static, so I cut and re-aligned her arms and changed the position of her head, to give more sense of movement. Frankie got a new paint scheme to befit his new marital status and I also reposed his head and arms to create a scene of marital discord, I am not quite sure about this I think I may go for a new base for a more dynamic pose, what do you think, please let me know, any suggestions welcomed and looked for
