Kit Building Diary
I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I
tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking.

Monday Evening 01/September/03
Well here we are again, this week I have the sublime Frankenstein Bust from Jayco
and Mysteria Models of the UKs, Exorcist spider walk. The bust needed just a little sanding then was ready for a coat of Primer, the Exorcist figure is glued and puttied, but will need a little more work before I can start putting on Primer I am looking forrward to working on both of these, please lookin again tomorrow, for more updates, thanks Mark A.

Tuesday Evening 02/September/03
I got some more work done on the groom. the photo on the left, has been airbrushed with a very pale flesh colour, when this dried, I went in and sprayed, some of the flesh tone, with a lttle green added, I sprayed in in a random patern to get a mottled look, I will leave this to dry over night and do some more tomorrow

I Finished with the filler and sanding, after a coat of Primer, I airbrushed the basic Flesh tone, and thats it for today, more tomorrow, please check in again

Wednesday Evening 03/September/03
I did quite a lot of work, on shading and detailing, using Green Grey and purple pastels, I also drew the veins with a permanent felt tip pen, I am happy with the way this is going, but I think I will tone it down just a touch tomorrow, by applying a mist coat of the original pale flesh after the sealent is properly dry.

Started shading shadow areas, using green and dark grey pastels, this one is going a bit slow hopefully I will get more done tomorrow. check back for updates.

Thursday Evening 04/September/03
I airbrushed a very fine (mist) coat of my original pale flesh over the Grooms features, the shading and detailing I did earlier, are still evident, but not as overpowering, I think I am now getting there with the look I am after his Clothes are Humbrol Matt Black enamel, the base is Sepia, The Exorcist figures, have been given a couple of coats of very pale blue, for the dresses, things are begining to come together, slowly but surely. More tomorrow Mark A.

Saturday Evening 06/September/03
I Had a day off yesterday, hence no diary, but I got some work done today, I finished the groom, by dry brushing all the black with grey, I gave all the scars  a thin wash with a red, mixed with a lttle brown, the staples, are silver enamel, and I have started to dry brush the base, with anitas, coffee.

As for the
Exorcist, I dry brushed the hair with the same colour I used on the grooms base, I gave the flesh tones, a light dry brush, with a greenish flesh colour, then I darkened under the eyes and mouths with, charcoal pastel, the eyes are based bleached bone, with a burnt sienna Iris, and yellow ochre, I still have some more work to do before I put in the black pupils,

the dresses, where given a wash with Humbrol medium blue, in all the folds, then I dry brushed the highlights whit white, with a touch of the original blue, the stairs carpet, is Coffee dry brushed with Citadel Colours bubonic brown, and thats about it for today folks, so far this week I reckon to have spent approx 10 hours in total on these two kits, I think they have come on reasonably well in that time.

Sunday Evening 07/September/03
I did some more work on both bases today, The Grooms base was dry brushed, Anitas Sand, then hunter green I also added some Railway scenics Moss, before I added the chain and manacle, then the club, on to the Exorcist, I painted the priests Ribbons purple and green the bible black with a gold crucifix, I couldnt resist adding some green Puke around Regans mouth and a little on her night dress, The scroll on the front of the base, was painted matt, black then dry brushed gold, I still need to add colour to the Lettering, a couple of small jobs, on the Groom should see these two finished by Tomorrow, thanks for Looking
Monday Evening 08/September/03
Well thats another couple done, I attached the Groom to the base, glued the Electrodes on his Neck, then attached his Arm, on The Exorcist, I painted the lettering Gloss Red, I allso, added some Blood red, to the Crucifix, in her hand, and put a few spatters on her night dress, in one infamous scene in the movei Regan gets shall we say over, friendly with the Crucifix, resulting the blood.
