Shapeshifters Dracula bust, hand painted with acrylics.
This is my first attempt, at a piece, in this scale, 1/3. The bust was produced, by my favourite, sculptor Mike Hill, a fellow Brit. The likeness to Christopher Lee is absolutely stunning. Mike has really captured, the ferocity, and menace, that Lee brought, to his Hammer films Dracula. I used my usual painting tecniques, on this one ie, base coat washes and dry brushing. With a piece, of this size and quality, I am tempted to buy an airbrush, to do the sculptors work justice. an absolute classic.
