Polar Lights Hunch back of Notre Dame, hand painted in acrylics. This is a re-issue, of a kit, that I originally built as a kid, when it was first released, by Auroraas a glow in the dark, model. I owned all the glow in the dark Monsters, at that time, but like, so many other people, at that age, I had no idea, that one day, they might have some value, to someone. So over the years, as i grew with age, they became just so much scrap plastic. The only difference, between this re-issue, and the Aurora originall, is the name change, He is now called the bellringer!. (political correctness gone mad) I dont know. He will always be the hunch back to me. I modified the base, by building a balsa wood platform, on a Milliput base, to raise him off the ground, I think this works quire well. Nearly thirty years, passed between, the time I built the Aurora original, to building this version. The pleasure I had as a small boy, putting the hunch back together, has not diminished, one little bit, after all those years, in fact the flood of memories, that swept over me, when I opened this kit, made the hairs on the back of my neck, stand on end. So thanks for Polar lights, not only for releasing great kits, but also for helping me to remember, such wonderful childhood memories.
