Kit Building Diary
I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I
tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking.

Thursday Morning 24/07/03
Thursday Morning, started on Malaevas base, I washed with various brown artists inks, from reddish brown, to near black,
I also did some work on the replacement Wolfman head, I already painted the Geometric, figure a couple of years ago, when I used washes for shading flesh tones
rather than the pastels I use now so I am going to replicate the original head colour scheme rather than repaint the whole figure, which doesnt need it anyway,
I also finished the flowers on Maleavas skirt, they are pink flowers with a yellow inner spot, and green tsems and leaves, I have to say I am glad these are done, I laid down the base colour, on her headscarf, Anitas medium blue, I finally got started on Zaius, base, painting the parts that will eventually be stone colour matt
Black, time taken. one and a half hours, still no major problems, up to now.
Thursday Evening 24/07/03
Thursday Evening, I finished zira, thats 3 down 2 to go, did some more work on zaius base, I am still not sure how to go about the scrolls and books on this base,
it will come to me soon, I got more detailing done on Maleava, mainly gold and silver, (this realy is a beautifully sculpted kit) I havent done much more on the base, just a little dry brushing, I did  lay on the base coat for Wolfmans fur, Anitas burnt umber, so far I am managing to keep the colours tied in with the Geo Wolfman figure that is already painted, still looking good for a weekend finish,
more tomorrow, time spent working this Evening, 2 hours.
Sunday 27/07/03
Sunday, I managed to get back to work on the last two kits after a 2 day break while I visited Birmingham for the Memrobillia show, I finished all the remaining work, time taken 3 hours I set myself the target of completeing five kits in a week,
although I have enjoyed doing it, I dont think I would try it again, I was very luck in that everything has run smoothly with no major problems,  a total time of 21 hours was taken to complete this project, now I need some rest, please let me know what you think of this Diary idea, your opinions will help me decide wether
it is something I will continue with in the future, thanks for looking M Atherton.
