Tony Mcveys Vynil Frankenstein, I have built several, Frankensteins, Monster kits, over the years, and I can safely say that tis is the best of the lot, it is a huge kit, standing over two feet tall, so the detail is absolutely superb, I love the expression on the face, and the flowers in his hands are a sublime touch, I did this one almost entirely by Airbrush, for the flesh tones, I first sprayed a light coat of flesh tint artists ink, then I added a little emerald green ink to the flesh colour, sprayed a blotchy patern, over the flesh to acheive the mottled look I was after, the inks are perfect for this job, because of there transclucency. When I was happy with the flesh tones, I used pastels, Dark Green, then Purple, and finally Charcoal for shading, The clothes where Airbrushed, Humbrol matt black, the base is Airbrushed, Sepia, then raw umber inks, dry brushed with Coffee, acrylics, the clothes where dry-brushed grey, and that was it, for this one, highly recomended if you can find room for it, I would like to thank Dave Nicholson at Killer Kits for getting this kit for me, click here to go to the Killer site, tell them I sent you.
