This is a long out of production very rare UK kit, Sculpted by Mark Towler, for Star Wars Emporium, in 1997, it features , the Killer Clown Pennywise, from Stephen Kings superb Novel, IT.
The figure and the base, are both huge, and being cast in cold cast prcelain, incredibly heavy when finished, the sulptor, has managed, to convey the Menace and Malice, of Kings character, in both the facial expression, and his pose, Beckoning, unsuspecting, children, with the promise of the ballons, held cunningly behind his back. the casting is flawless, even down to the little paper boat, on the base, The base is an inspired choice, anyone who has read the book will instantly recognise, the scene from the Opening chapter, where six year old George Denbrough, chases his little paper boat, to his untimely death at the hands of the Evil Clown, I have read the novel several times, and this scene still has a profound effect on me, as it was so shocking, I owe a vey good friend of mine Keith Cousins a Fellow Brit, and Gentleman a huge debt of Gratitude, for finding this for me, I first saw it five years ago, and until now have been unable to get hold of it, Thanks bud. if you would like to see, how this kit came together, please visit my Diary, Click here for the Link, please check it out if you can thanks
