Polar Lights Phantom of the Opera hand painted with acrylics. Another nice new release, from Polar lights, a well detailed and well constructed kit, I absolutely love the base, with the exception of the floor, which I thought was a little to square, so I just knocked the edges off and filled wit putty, Some might think me crazy, but hey its my choice. I am not to sure, about the figure, to me there is just something not quite right about him, I just cant put my finger on it, as with most Styrene kits, this one needed a lot of work before it was ready for painting, the cape in paticular, was a complete Nightmare.
I have to admit though that I quite enjoyed building this, even with all its littl problems, but what is it about the figure that bugs me any ideas any one?.... |
