Predator Bust
BACK

This is another beutiful, piece from the fine people at Killer Kits, the 1/3rd scale bust was expertly sculpted, by Ian McGlauchlin,  once again the casting, is flawless, with very crisp detailing, and a facial expression, that hits the Predator character, bang on, you can almost feel the eyes lining you up as his next target, Superb.  on to the paint job, after a coat of grey Primer, I airbrushed, the majority of the kit, with Fawn Acrylic. when this had dried, I airbrushed Tiger stripes with Raw Umber, Acrylic ink,  then I airbrushed, Leopard spots, with gradually darker, shades of Brown inks.
After a coat of flat to seal what I had already done, I airbrushed, his dreadlocks, and all the armour and straps with Black ink,  I finally picked up a paint brush, to work on his eyes, and mouth, The skull around the base, got a coat of Bleached bone, as did his fangs, and the teeth on his chest, Finally I dry brushed his armour, and hair ornaments, with Gold, Silver and Copper enamels, and gave the skulls a wash with Burnt Umber, to weather them, A very easy kit to build and paint, and anothe nice piece, from Dave and all the Crew at Killer, if you like what you see, take a look at the
