| Kit Building Diary |
| I decided to keep a Photo Diary, of the day to day process of building, more than one kit at a time, you will probably notice I dont work to any set plan or routine,I tend to just go with the flow, dependant on my mood at the time, I hope you enjoy this project, and hopefully it will give some insight into how I work and the methods i use, in pursuit of my beloved hobby thank you for looking. | Next on the bench is a superb, little kit featuring the death struggle between Bad ass Vasqez, and the Alien from the Movie Aliens, so far I have drilled and pinned the figures for placement on rhe base, and given the base a coat of Satin Coal Black |

| I have Airbrushed the Alien with, Sepia, (very dark brown) artists ink, the base was drybrushed silver, then gold, then bronze Enamel, I then added patches of green Metallic Acrylic, mixed with Yellow pearlescant, for the Aliens Acid blood, I am more or less happy with this, though I may add yellow and Black Chevrons on the back, not sure yet, more soon |

| Started dry brushing the Alien, first with Burnt sienna acrylic, then when this dried, I continued to dry brush this time with raw sienna, I will continue dry brushing using gradually lighter shades of this colour, until I am happy with the results, more soon |

| I finished the Alien, by completeing the dry brushing, then I blended the high points Knees Elbows, and the dome on the head with black enamel, the teeth where painted silver, enamel, then I sprayed a gloss varnish to finish, I just adde the black and yellow stripes to the base for a little contrast, I am happy with the weathering,and this is now finished, more later. |

| I Started on Vasqez, I airbrushed her pants, Tamya Khaki, then hand painted the camouflage with Anitas coffee, the flesh tones have been airbrushed with Tamya flat flesh, more later |

| I did some more work on Vasquez, the shirt is Humbrol, Dark Green, Boots and hair, Matt Black, Tomorrow should see this one finished |

| Well heres another one finished, I weathered the clothes and fleshtones on vasqez, finished her eyes and bandana and sat the kit on a homemade base that is just MDF board cut to shape and sprayed with the stone effect paint, that I have used before, Whats next? tune in for daily updates. Mark A. |
