Werewolf of London Bust.
BACK
Geometrics Werewolf of london 1/4 scale resin bust with white metal post and nameplate. back to my favourite subject Werewolves, and this is sculped by the best werewolf sculptor in the business, Mike Hill I have done several of his kits and this is easily one of the best, I have never seen the film that this character is based on, but I have seen several photos, the actor I think is called Henry Hull and the movie was made in the 1930s? I maybe wrong, about that but one thing is not in doubt, the likeness that Mike has produced is absolutely stunning, as you would expect from a man of his calibre, credit should go to Geometric also for producing a flawless casting with only a minor seam to get rid of, I do have one problem with the kit overall though and that is the base, it just doesnt do the sculpt justice, I am goint to try and have a re-think on this and see what I can come up with. even this does not detract from the fact that this kit is just about as good as it gets
first stage basecoated, with grey primer
airbrushed base flesh tone, added highlights to flesh with pastels and sealed with flat
laquer to protect work already done
Next stage, all the base colours hair brown, shirt royal blue, jacket navy blue, scarf olive green, eyes and teeth
bleached bone.
